Thank you very much for this review, which I just found. I'm always happy to learn of someone who enjoyed my book. Interweaving the quilting information is one of my favortie parts of writing the books. And I too have a collection of mysteries associated with stitching--growing all the time.

I’m glad that most of the people here are really clever, and are fun to talk to, because we have a lot in common. Here I can express myself, share different information, have fun, enjoy communication. Some people here are angry, but why, guys? Make friends, be nice, share what you think, and you won’t feel lonely anymore!

Thanks, and you're right of course. I guess I just want us all to start out as 'good writers' who only need editing some of the time.

moved from another post; it applies to this one:

Dave in San Diego |

This is in response to your “grammarian” post: A good writer would of course need no editing. But there seems to be a dearth of good editors! If a writer is allowed the freedom to put thoughts into text, and that text is then shared with others professionally, there needs to be a good editor to catch any obvious mistakes and the not so obvious grammatical inconsistencies. This really should become a dialog between editor and writer so that both may prosper. A spell checker can’t fill this need, and it’s this step that is most often overlooked.
